About Us

Please note: The Tyrone Alliance for Responsible Growth Inc. (The TARG) is a Georgia non-profit corporation and is in the process of applying to be a 501(c)(3) organization under IRS rules. The TARG is non-partisan and does not endorse, or seek to elect any political party or politician. The TARG works across party lines to educate our citizens so they can protect our community. We are a group of passionate volunteers and hope you will join us in our mission by volunteering or donating to the organization.

We advocate for responsible growth, preserving the character of Tyrone and surrounding communities, and ensuring that residents are educated so they may have a meaningful voice in decisions that affect our community.

We are an organization comprised of Tyrone residents, HOAs, surrounding communities, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations united to preserve and protect the quality of life and natural resources of Tyrone and surrounding communities. One of the best ways to help the Tyrone Alliance for Responsible Growth is by spreading the word and letting our Town officials hear our concerns. 

We need both concerned citizens and experts to volunteer to speak out at Tyrone Town Council meetings, held the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. Other ways to help include: wearing a t-shirt, posting signs on your property, printing/handing out flyers, and engaging with our local leaders. All of these actions can further spread the word throughout our community on issues affecting everyone.
